Life Coaching for Actors

Because the intersection of savvy business habits and creative spirits can be a messy thing

What is life coaching?

Life coaching is for everyone at every level of success and achievement. As we unlock new levels of success, our brains will serve up all sorts of new stories to unpack so coaching is useful for all actors at all points on their own unique journey.

The value of coaching can not be overstated. I believe we all need someone who looks at our brains with us and helps us see where we're stuck and how there is the possibility to move forward on a more efficient path.

For performers and actors specifically, understanding how we tick as people, our patterns, our defaults, and our nervous system responses to threat and fear can make the difference in finding a way to interact with this career in a way that actually feels fulfilling. We get to own all of it, the hard, the nourishing, the challenges, the fulfillment, and bring all of those discoveries into our work as actors. I think coaching is one of the very best things we can do to build stamina and sustain a life in the arts.

About Peter:

I am a Certified Professional Coach, and an active Life & Career Coach with well over 25,000 hours of professional coaching experience.

My coaching training includes a decade long mentorship with Arlene Rosenberg (author of Say It, See It, Be It) and coaching certifications from iPEC, Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching.

In addition to ACTING BUSINESS BOOT CAMP, where I motivate actors and expose them to the Agent’s & Casting Director’s point of view, I founded the company THE CHIROPRACTOR FOR THE MIND (TM). This unique approach empowers artists to have the courage and to create opportunity for themselves so that they can show their talent with honesty and confidence.

In addition to my coaching, I have had an incredibly successful 30 year plus voice over career with over a thousand jobs to my name. My notable acting acting credits include recurring roles on NBC’s DEADLINE (Dick Wolf), ABC’s ALL MY CHILDREN, and lead roles at the ACTORS THEATER OF LOUISVILLE’s Humana Festival and the CINCINNATI PLAYHOUSE IN THE PARK. In film, I played Oliver Platt’s girlfriend in the cult hit FUNNY BONES, starring the late Jerry Lewis and in 2023, Patrick Bergin’s ex-lover in THE HOUSE AT THE END OF THE LANE.

Finally, I also formed the ADR Loop Group THE LOOPING DIVISION, with my husband, Jason Harris. Together we have cast and performed background and specific voices for such projects as: Legendary Pictures’ DUNE, Showtime’s YELLOWJACKETS & YOUR HONOR, Apple’s FOR ALL MANKIND & DICKINSON, FOX’s ALERT, plus many more.

My passion is to INSPIRE. To inspire humans to have a real relationship with themselves so that they are clear on what they truly want out of life and go after it with inner courage and confidence knowing that they are enough and can handle whatever life throws their way.
