What is life coaching?
Amy Northup is here to help you marry an action-based mindset with your creative spirit in a way that keeps you balanced, centered, and absolutely empowered.
She loves to create a container for the work- this can look like a quick centering exercise at the beginning before you jump into the work, and doing the same to close the session.
The meat of it is checking in with what you’re navigating in your life and career, and finding tangible action steps to help you move the needle.
As a fellow Actress and Director, Amy understand the very unique challenges that artists face. The intersection of savvy business habits and creative spirits can be a messy thing, and my goal is to help you marry an action-based mindset with your creative spirit in a way that keeps you balanced, centered, and absolutely empowered.
Hi! My name is Amy Northup, and I am a certified health and life coach that specializes in working with performers of all types.
After receiving my certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in Holistic Health Coaching, I quickly learned that while I love helping people find ways to eat more intuitively, what I really love doing is help them figure out what’s going on underneath- it’s always about more than the food. Expanding my practice beyond healthy eating, I now work with performers of all kinds, helping find the sweet spot of not only physical health, but also creative, mental, and spiritual growth and health.
In our sessions, we’ll dive into what’s stopping you from really going for what you want- insecurity, fear, self-sabotage, time management, whatever it is. We’ll go there. And we’ll work together to find concrete, empowering ACTIONS to take to get you through to the other side- and we’ll figure out and build in the exact kind of accountability you thrive with.
Put simply: I want to help you get out of your own way.
