Because there is one, painfully ugly truth about HEADSHOTS.

Are you ready?

Are you sitting down?

Good, cause your career DEPENDS on it.

Agents and Casting Directors will judge whether you know what you are doing (or not) in this business within LESS THAN ONE SECOND of looking at your headshot.

Less. Than. One. Second.

That means you have less than one second to start or end a valuable relationship with an Agent or a CD.

And the ugly truth is, most actors have NO IDEA what the industry is looking for when it comes to headshots.

In my Weekend Intensives, I ask, “are you speaking the language of the Agents and the Casting Directors?’ Or… “are you speaking the language of the Actor?”

If you’re not sure as to which you should be speaking, let me assure you that you absolutely WANT to be speaking the language of the Agent and the Casting Director!

And it all starts with the Headshot because chances are, THAT is their first introduction to you.

If your headshot does not speak their language – it (and your career) is tossed away with the thousands of others.

Why? Because these people do not have time to teach YOU how to do YOUR job.

But that is exactly what I am here for – to teach you how to speak the language that Agents and Casting Directors REQUIRE you to know before they represent you or give you one of their precious audition slots.

Having a good photographer is the first step. You want someone who has their finger on the pulse of the industry RIGHT now, not two years ago. This business is always morphing and growing, so you want to have someone who understands the current trends.

But, you can have a headshot taken by a great photographer that does not represent you accurately. You may have chosen the wrong one from a shoot because that was the one your mother liked, or you felt most attractive in or felt you looked your youngest. You may have experienced a life-changing event, such as a death or marriage, that changes your essence. There are thousands of reasons your headshot may not be serving you best.

That’s what I’m here for, to guide you. If your headshot isn’t working, and you can’t seem to figure out why, you owe it to yourself to have a working, industry professional look at it.

P.S. We have an entire module of the Weekend Intensive devoted to this. I even look at each of your headshots individually and offer a personalized recommendation on a photographer and help you pick out your DYNAMITE headshot from the session.
